Classical extract methods often use organic solvents and sometime use high temperature to extract phytochemicals. Residues of organic solvents cause toxicity and environmental problems. High temperature causes chemicals degradation. To solve these problems, we use new green technology called Supercritical Fluid Extraction or SFE.

In extraction process, high quality raw materials are putted into the chamber tank of supercritical fluid extractor. Next, set pressure and temperature above CO2 or other solvent critical point. CO2 or other solvent will convert into supercritical fluid. This extraction method can increase power of extraction by increasing co-solvent in process. Finally, open valve to collect crude extract at difference time. Sometime extracts will be concentrated by rotary evaporator and spray drier.

Control a quality of crude extract by using HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography), TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography) and GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry).
